Google review QR code: more reviews, no effort

Paste the “Ask for reviews” link from your Google Business Profile: customers scan the sign on the counter and land straight on the window to rate your business.

Where do I find the review link of my Google profile?

Sign in to the Google account that manages your business, then search for your business name in Google or Google Maps. In your profile’s management panel, click “Ask for reviews” (or “Get more reviews”): Google shows a short link like g.page/r/…/review. Copy it and paste it above.

Where should I put the sign?

Where customers wait or have just paid: counter, till, table, receipt, bag, invoice. A simple line works well: “Enjoyed it? A quick review helps us a lot!”.

Why a “static” QR code never expires

Many “free” QR code websites actually create a dynamic QR code: the code first points to their server, which then redirects to your link. After a 7 to 14-day trial, they cut the redirect and ask for a subscription. The code already printed on your menus, flyers or business cards stops working.

Here, the QR code is static: your link (or your Wi-Fi, your business card…) is written directly into the pattern of the code. It goes through no server, neither ours nor anyone else’s. It will work as long as your link exists, even if this website disappears tomorrow.

Printing your QR code properly

Keep a light background and dark squares, a size of at least 2 × 2 cm (3 cm on a poster read from a distance) and the white margin around the code. Always test the code with your phone before printing in bulk.

The code is created in your browser

Nothing is sent over the internet: not your link, not your Wi-Fi password, not your contact details. Download the code as PNG (for Word, Canva, social media) or SVG (for the printer, sharp at any size).

Share the generator Free, no sign-up, and the codes never expire.

Frequently asked questions

Is it allowed to ask for reviews with a QR code?

Yes. However, Google forbids offering a reward in exchange for a review or only asking satisfied customers.

Will the QR code always lead to my profile?

Yes, as long as the review link of your Google profile exists. The code goes through no intermediary.

Why has my old QR code stopped working?

It was probably a dynamic QR code created during a free trial: the website that made it cut the redirect when the trial ended. You need to create a static one and reprint it.
